Use your mind for a change... a positive change
NLP is sometimes referred to as ‘the manual for the brain’ and includes simple yet proven tools for creating positive change. It is now widely used in therapy, education, and business, and forms the basis of most Life Coaching.
If you want to change aspects of your life in a positive way to become more fulfilled, happier, more contented, then NLP could provide a way forward. I usually integrate NLP techniques with other therapies - most notably hypnotherapy - which makes it even more effective.
NLP was developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970s. Its basis is ‘modelling’ excellent behaviour. Bandler and Grinder studied the techniques of three highly successful Psychotherapists: Virginia Satir, mother of Family Therapy, Fritz Pearls, creator of Gestalt Therapy and the Psychiatrist and Hypnotherapist, Dr Milton H Erickson.
From this, Bandler and Grinder created and developed powerful models for change which include simple yet effective techniques for altering your perception. It is extremely valuable for creating a more positive view, for enhancing motivation and for setting achievable and well-defined outcomes or goals.
