Smoking Cessation |
"Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power" - Lao Tzu
Do you want to be free of your cravings for cigarettes or tobacco products? Would you like to do that the easy way? This technique has worked even for people who have failed with hypnosis in the past. That is because this is an advanced therapy technique, especially adapted to smoking.
"Hypnotherapy has the HIGHEST SUCCESS RATE of ANY form of therapy for smokers wishing to quit" - New Scientist - 1992.
Smoking is largely a habit, and often one that you learned because you wanted it! Perhaps when you were a teenager, you were curious, or wanted to look cool or be a part of the gang. You probably hated the first cigarette, but persevered and after a while you were able to smoke!
Smokers automatically reach for a cigarette – with a drink, when they make a phone call or after a meal, for example. The body is clear of nicotine within 48 hours of being a non-smoker, yet many smokers find it difficult to continue without cigarettes long after that. This is because it is an ingrained, subconscious habit, and may also be a coping strategy for something else.
I use an advanced technique, combining the Austin Technique (or Harley Street Technique) with other advanced therapy protocols, such as parts therapy (the part that wants to smoke and the part that does not). This method is effective in helping most smokers who are motivated to quit. I also integrate additional therapies such as Psych-K ‘belief work’. This means you have the best possible chance of being a true non-smoker in just one session.
Some smoking therapists rely purely on a very basic 'suggestion hypnosis' which works only for about a third of smokers, for good hypnotees, or for a short term. Using more advanced protocols means we have a higher success rate.
